Sisters;

Our present day computer technology is wonderful isn’t it? The church is using it more and more.

We need to become more familiar with our computers and the LDS sites.

For some of us it can be intimidating so we need to take one baby step at a time. You’ve already learned to turn on the computer and get onto our blog.

If you’re a slow learner like me and have the greatest fear of deleting or breaking something, take a deep breath, say a prayer and have some one sit beside you the first few times.

The opportunities of today’s computer technology are endless.

Take advantage of it in a positive way. Play with it, conquer your fears.

Hey I opened the blog to day on my own. Actually some one did suggest that I Google it.

I also found the Friend magazine and read several articles from it. The one that stands out most in my mind is the one written by Chad E. Phares, ”Always Ready.” This story not only sends a message to the children but also sends a simple but strong message to parents of how we all need to be prepared for life by reading our scriptures and praying daily and teaching and being an example to our children so they are able to make good choices each day.

I also found lds.org children’s lesson helps which is an excellent site. If you are not already familiar with it, it is a great site to check out.

Remember to view the training videos. You can Google them. Yahoo! Oh no that’s another search engine.

Speaking of search engines get on board and surf the Teaching No Greater Call site.(C-F)

I am grateful for my calling which has given me the opportunity and push to become more familiar with the technology provided for us. I know it is Heavenly Fathers way of getting the teachings of the Gospel to us and the world in a fast and convenient way.

Sisters I know the Gospel is true and that Heavenly Father and Jesus know and love us. Take time and find the church sites that the Lord has made available for our use. You will be blessed richly.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT 2012

Christmas has come and gone, the chaos of getting kids to their new classes and teachers with the right manuals has past! We have all received the new manuals and know that the theme for 2012 is "CHOOSE THE RIGHT". What a simple yet profound three words!

In this life we have to make many choices. Some are very important choices. Some are not. Many of our choices are between good and evil. The choices we make, however, determine to a large extent our happiness or our unhappiness, because we have to live with the consequences of our choices. Making perfect choices all of the time is not possible. It just doesn’t happen. But it is possible to make good choices we can live with and grow from. When God’s children live worthy of divine guidance they can become “free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon.” 1 James E. Faust

What choices are we making in our primaries? Are the choices we make helping us to
be prepared, to know the manuals we have been given? Are our choices making our children

feel loved and the teachers feel appreciated? Are we as a presidency choosing to bring the

spirit into our primaries?

If we ponder these questions and pray for guidance from our Father in heaven we will be able

to find the answers we need. The church has also provided us with so much information, We as

a presidency URGE you to go online and watch the Training Videos, they have so much

valuable information in them, and are sure to be an amazing resource in helping deal with your

primaries. Another great resource for knowing the dates of upcoming events is on the LDS.org

website, under the stake directory, it has all the information on there for our stake.

You can also contact any of us in the Presidency at anytime with questions. We love and pray

for you and your primary children. We are excited about this new years theme, and cant wait

for the children to learn more about Choosing the Right!
